This beautiful plant can be used as transition plant from midground to background. Under very high light, the leaves tip turns reddish.

Undemanding plant, once established in the aquarium will grow fast. Frequent pruning is needed to maintain shape.

This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

Ammannia senegalensis

This plant can tolerate high temperature. CO2 and nutrients are required for the plant to become orange red.

Echinodorus Sp. Cordifolius

Bright light and nutrient rich substrate is required. Roots need to be trimmed occasionally.

Ludwigia brevipes

A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Eriocaulon breviscapum

Very Bright light, CO2 injection and adequate dosing is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium.

Syngonanthus sp. 'Lago Grande'

Requires very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing for this plant to do well in the aquarium.

Microcarpaea minima

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.
