Potamogeton Octandrus - Red

Undemanding plant, once established in the aquarium will grow fast. Frequent pruning is needed to maintain shape.

Cuphea anagalloidea

Cuphea anagalloidea is a small, demanding stem plant. Its shoots grow around 1.5 to 2 cm wide, measured from leaf tip to leaf tip. The striking red colour on the upper side of the submersed leaves is most intensive under strong light, and it can look like it was brushed on. The red leaves often have small green spots.

Hygrophila odora

Hygrophila odora is similar to difformis but differs by their narrower form. A nutrient rich substrate, water column nutrient dosing, adequate lights and CO2 injection will bring the best out of this plant.

Limnophila aromatica/ hippuroides -Purple

Very Bright light, CO2 and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the intense red colour of this plant.

Juncus repens

This beautiful plant can be used as transition plant from midground to background. Under very high light, the leaves tip turns reddish.

Hygrophilla Corymbosa 'compacta'

This is a fast growing plant and should be pruned regularly. The top should be cut for it to branch and grow compact.

Echinodorus palaefolius

This is a hardy and adaptable plant. Regular pruning is required.

Utricularia graminifolia

Requires very bright light. CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing helps this plant to do well in the aquarium. Size 5 X 5 cm

Important: This is a very delicate and sensitive plant so damages during transit is very high.

Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba'

Requires bright light, CO2 and adequate nutrients to form a lush carpet.

Microcarpaea minima

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.
