A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Pogostemon stellatus 'Octopus'

This needle leaf variety of P stellatus can be used as a background plant. Requires high light, CO2 and nutrient dosing.

Rotala macrandra 'Narrow leaf'

Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red coloration.

Hygrophila sp. 'araguaia'

Bright light, CO2 and adequate nutrients are required to grow this purple color plant.

Didiplis diandra

Good lighting and nutrient rich substrate is required.

Ludwigia palustris -Hi red

This plant will adapt to most aquarium conditions if bright light is available. Regular pruning is required for the plant to become a bush.

Hemigraphis sp. Pink

This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

Utricularia graminifolia

Requires very bright light. CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing helps this plant to do well in the aquarium. Size 5 X 5 cm

Important: This is a very delicate and sensitive plant so damages during transit is very high.

Amcella Repens

Easy to grow plant used in Dutch aquascapes. Under the right conditions the stems and leaves develop reddish tint. Picture is of emersed form.

Lagenandra toxicaria "giant"

Undemanding plant but will do very well in nutrient rich substrate, bright light, CO2 and adequate nutrient dosing.
