Undemanding plants which can be grown under various conditions. Can also be used as foreground plants under very bright light and regular pruning.

Microcarpaea minima

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.

A large plant suitable for background in the aquarium. Bright light and nutrient rich substrate is required.

This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

An undemanding midground plant with an unique shaped leaf which requires low light and low maintenance. Ideal for beginners.

Myriophyllum tuberculatum

Good choice for Dutch aquariums. Requires high light, CO2 and nutrients to bring out the color. Clean and clear water is required as debris may clog the fine leaves.

Ludwigia repens

Bright to Very bright light is required for the plant to grow well in the aquarium.

Cryptocoryne retrospiralis

This plant requires nutrient rich substrate. Regular pruning will keep it looking its best.

Vallisnaria spiralis

Hygrophila difformis 'Variegated'

Suitable for aquariums with bright light and will look good when kept in well spaced groups.
