Cuphea anagalloidea

Cuphea anagalloidea is a small, demanding stem plant. Its shoots grow around 1.5 to 2 cm wide, measured from leaf tip to leaf tip. The striking red colour on the upper side of the submersed leaves is most intensive under strong light, and it can look like it was brushed on. The red leaves often have small green spots.

Heteranthera zosteraefolia

With bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing, is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium. Regular pruning is required.

Vallisnaria spiralis

This is a fast growing plant and should be pruned regularly.

Microcarpaea minima

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.

Rotala var. 'Blood red' SG

A new Rotala sp in the hobby!! Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red coloration.

A hardy slow growing plant ideal for Midground or Foreground.

Amcella Repens

Easy to grow plant used in Dutch aquascapes. Under the right conditions the stems and leaves develop reddish tint. Picture is of emersed form.

Ludwigia inclinata

Very bright light, CO2 injection, and adequate dosing is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium.

Cardamine Lyrata

This plant looks good in small groups. Low light and hard water may result in stunted growth.
