This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

A small very slow growing plant which can be used in foreground and midground.

Ludwigia brevipes

A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.

Egeria najas

Good plant for beginners. Can be grown under various conditions.

Heteranthera zosteraefolia

With bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing, is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium. Regular pruning is required.
