Lagenandra nairii 'Compact'

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Ludwigia Perennis/ Glandulosa

Under right conditions this plant will grow quickly producing intensely olive green, pink leaves.

Heteranthera zosteraefolia

With bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing, is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium. Regular pruning is required.

Pistia stratiotes

A fast growing floating plant which is also suitable for ponds.

Good choice for Dutch aquariums. Requires high light, CO2 and nutrients to bring out the color. Clean and clear water is required as debris may clog the fine leaves.

Under high light and nutrient dosing, the tip of the plant turns red. The leaves have dotted pattern. Care must be taken as the stems of this delicate plant can break off easily. They can also be kept as floating plant.

A beautiful and very varied species from West Africa with leaves of green to red-brown and varying numbers of purple spots. Can grow from 20-80 cm tall.
