This beautiful plant can be used as transition plant from midground to background. Under very high light, the leaves tip turns reddish.

Can be grown under low lights too. Grows into a beautiful lawn and can be used as a mid grown plant and background in nano tanks.

Hygrophila odora

Hygrophila odora is similar to difformis but differs by their narrower form. A nutrient rich substrate, water column nutrient dosing, adequate lights and CO2 injection will bring the best out of this plant.
