This stem plant can be grown under various conditions and can tolerate high temperatures. There should be adequate space between the stems while planting.

Cuphea anagalloidea is a small, demanding stem plant. Its shoots grow around 1.5 to 2 cm wide, measured from leaf tip to leaf tip. This plant requires bright light. Iron dosing along with regular fertilization will make this plant take on a maroon coloration.

Very bright light, CO2 injection, and adequate dosing is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium.
