Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Marsilea hirsuta

This plant can be grown under various conditions but bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrients dosing will make this plant grow dense and as a carpet.  The plant is grown under farm condition and delivered with leaves like a four-leaf clover. After a transitional period it develops different type of leaves, and grow low as a carpet with single leaves

Under bright light this plant grows fast. CO2 and adequate nutrients are required.

Rotala macrandra 'mini butterfly'

Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red coloration.

Lilaeopsis mauritiana

Can be grown under low lights too. Grows into a beautiful lawn and can be used as a mid grown plant and background in nano tanks.
